Open conversation about the confessional nature of artists works. The visual narrative of this assemblage is in references to an alter. Often alters serve as a space designated for ritual. This assemblage reflect a blending of indigenous beliefs, especially those surrounding the Aztec mother goddess Tonantzin. The application of existing beliefs and rituals merging creates a completely new Hybrid of secular fluidity and adaptability.
