Open conversation about similarities and why it’s difficult to perceive the world. The visual narrative of this painting is about how to reconnect with what has been lost and how beauty leads back to what has been forgotten. A boat without water is an object that cannot fulfill its primary purpose of floating and transporting people or goods. It becomes a stationary vessel in an environment where its intended purpose is lost.
A boat out of water is an excellent metaphor for a person, place or thing that is unwilling or unable to perform or achieve its full potential.
